Android 4.3 “Jelly Bean”: Google beginnt mit Rollout in Deutschland [Download]

Besitzer eines Google Nexus dürfen sich darüber freuen, dass Google nun auch in Deutschland mit dem Rollout der neusten Android-Software begonnen hat. Android 4.3 “Jelly Bean” lässt sich per Over-The-Air-Update auf eurem Gerät installieren. Sofern man keine automatische Mitteilung bekommet, lässt sich in den Einstellungen nach dem Update suchen.

Laut Google verbessert das neue Update die Leistung und die Stabilität. Des Weiteren ist die Kamera-App überarbeitet worden und bietet eine neue Benutzeroberfläche. Darüber hinaus liefert Google mit dem Update Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy Support, OpenGL ES 3.0 und ein Parental Control-Feature.

Sollte euch das Nexus-Gerät kein Update anzeigen, könnt ihr durch einen einfachen Trick das Update erzwingen. Dazu müsst ihr in den Einstellungen unter Apps (Alle) “Google-Dienste-Framework” beenden und die Daten löschen. Danach sollte nach einer erneuten Überprüfung das Update zur Verfügung stehen.
