Apple veröffentlicht iOS 10.3.3 und macOS Sierra 10.12.6 Beta 6

Wie üblich hat Apple nach dem Release einer finalen Betriebssystemversion wieder einmal die nächste Beta nachgeschoben. Am gestrigen Abend veröffentlichte der Hersteller aus Cupertino die sechste Betaversion von iOS 10.3.3 und macOS Sierra 10.12.6.

Eingetragene Entwickler bei Apple können sich ab sofort die neue Testversion auf ihr iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch oder den Mac ziehen. Entweder ihr benutzt dafür das Apple Developer Portal oder habt bereits ein Profil auf eurem Gerät installiert, welches euch ein Over The Air Update ermöglicht. Es ist im Moment nicht bekannt, ob Apple in dem Release irgendwelche größeren Neuerungen versteckt hat. Da es sich jedoch um ein kleines Zwischenrelease handelt ist nicht davon auszugehen. Managed and Shared Devices
The ability to update devices from a remote server is in development and may not yet work as
expected.
openURL
When a third party application invokes openURL: on a tel://, facetime://, or facetime-audio://
URL, iOS displays a prompt and requires user confirmation before dialing.
SOS
SOS is only supported in India.
WebKit
Safari now supports the prefers-reduced-motion media query. This query allows a web
developer to provide alternate page styles for users who are sensitive to large areas of motion.
Users can change their preference for reduced motion in the Accessibility section of System
Preferences.
The iOS 10.3 update removes support for SHA-1 signed certificates used for Transport Layer
Security (TLS) in Safari and WebKit that are issued from a root Certification Authority (CA)
included in the operating system default trust store. All other TLS connections will continue to
support SHA-1 signed certificates until late 2017. SHA-1 signed root CA certificates, enterprisedistributed
SHA-1 certificates, and user-installed SHA-1 certificates are not affected by this

Notes and Known Issues
APFS
On a Mac with a partition for macOS Sierra 10.12.6 beta 4 or earlier and an APFS partition for
macOS High Sierra 10.13 beta, installing macOS 10.12.6 beta 5 or later before macOS 10.13 beta
2 prevents the APFS partition from mounting.
Important: Install the latest build of macOS High Sierra beta 2 before updating to macOS Sierra
10.12.6 beta 5 or later.
