iMac mit Retina Display: File in OS X Yosemite gibt Hinweise auf bevorstehendes Upgrade

Zwar hat Apple im Rahmen des WWDC 2014 keine neue Hardware vorgestellt, jedoch gibt es laut der Webseite MacBidouille in der Beta von OS X Yosemite Hinweise auf neue iMacs, die mit einem Retina Display ausgestattet sein könnten.

So konnte man in einer Datei diverse Werte für die Auflösung auslesen, die einem neuen iMac zugeordnet werden konnten. Als erste Möglichkeit wird eine Auflösung von 6400 x 3600 Pixeln genannt. Als Retina-Auflösung entspricht der genannte Wert 3200 x 1800 HiDPI. Weiterhin folgen die Werte 5760×3240 Pixel (2880×1620 HiDPI) und 4096×2304 Pixel (2048×1152 HiDPI) etc.

Zwar handelt es sich hierbei nur um Spekulationen. Allerdings plant Apple höchstwahrscheinlich schon seit dem Retina MacBook Pro (2880×1800) das gesamte Portfolio mit der Technologie auszustatten. Neben dem iMac dürfte aber auch das MacBook Air in naher Zukunft ein Retina Display bekommen.

Knowing that there is a gap between the values ​​of 5760 and 4096, one can imagine something between these two (probably 5120×2880, 2560×1440 or in HiDPI), but this is speculation.
